Dr. Jay C. Proctor, III has lived in Beaumont, Texas for most of his life. He graduated from Lamar University - Beaumont, Texas in 1974 and completed medical school at UTMB Galveston, Texas in May 1978. Dr. Proctor went on to complete his residency at the University of Texas in Houston, Texas and began family practice in Beaumont, Texas in 1981. Dr. Proctor is married with six children.

Dr. Jay C. Proctor is Board Certified in Family Practice and has served as the Chairman of Beaumont Family Practice in 1983, 1986, and 1991.
