Dr. Caruth uses a local anesthetic which allows patients to be awake during their entire surgery. Patients are able to adjust the size of their implants, mid-surgery, so that there aren't any surprises.
Dr. Caruth uses a remarkable technique called Tumescent anesthesia, commonly used for liposuction, which reduces the chances of bleeding during surgery and bruising afterward, and provides excellent anesthesia.
