What is Hylaform?
Hylaform was developed by INAMED Aesthetics, a company with over 20 years of experience providing safe and effective dermal fillers. Hylaform is an FDA-approved gel, specifically a highly purified form of hyaluronic acid.
The synthetic gel mimics the actions of the same acid found naturally in the body. Once injected, the gel pushes up the skin causing wrinkles and fine lines to disappear. Hylaform is special because it requires no pre-treatment tests, the results are immediate, and the side effects are very mild. You don't have to wait to get treated and then you don't have to wait to see the results. Hylaform works best when used on the wrinkles and lines associated with the nose and mouth areas. As opposed to the Hylaform gel highlighted above, Radiesse, formerly under the name Radiance, is not a gel but a calcium hydroxylapatite injectable cohesive implant. Radiesse is an impressive treatment with a proven track record of positive results. While in the past patients who wanted the effects of implants had to settle for bovine injections or solid implants, those same patients can experience the wonder of Radiesse. Radiesse treatments supplement your depleted collagen levels giving you firmer skin and few wrinkles. Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a biocompatible carboxymethylcellulose gel. But trust me, the results are not as hard to perceive and it is to pronounce the components of the treatment! Instead, Radiesse patients usually see results after one treatment but depending on your skin�s condition you might need additional treatments to get maximum results. What are the benefits of Radiesse?
Radiesse is a great choice for people who want to plump their lips, remove depressed scars, and diminish and erase the lines around the nose, cheeks, and lips. Radiesse can be used on all kinds of patients although people with extreme wrinkles and similar problems might not achieve the best results. What happens during a Radiesse Treatment?
During the treatment you will received a small dose of anesthetic to numb the injection site. Next, Radiesse is injected into the wrinkle with a small syringe.
